The ASK:
Communicate via a series of typographic communication highlighting a cause that is important to you. Display them in public areas.

To prepare, we read Strikethrough! Typographic Messages of Protest. The book explores ways dissent has been voiced through graphics for over a century.
Execution:
I wanted the urgency of the message to come through. I hand wrote, painted, and cut out many of the characters on the posters. Next, I photographed these handmade elements, converted them into PNGs in Photoshop, and integrated them into my Illustrator files.
The posters were printed using a Risograph in a three-color process: pink, black, and blue, and the bullet box and bullet were added separately with a laser printer. I chose bright, neon colors and childlike numbers to grab attention, creating a sharp contrast with the weight of the message.
