The brief:
Design a magazine cover, contents page and two spreads.
I chose to design a hair magazine that looks different from typical dated grocery store hair magazines and create a retro inspired kitschy magazine that would be more appealing to a fashion conscious audience.
Whether it's a mullet, bob, pixie, or shag (oops, I mean "wolf cut"), it's all been done before. My intent was celebrate the past while keeping it fresh.
