THE ASK:
Design a clock using letters or numbers in a typographic way. Produce it via Glowfordge.

EXECUTION:
I loved this project so much, I made two! (See Time Flies). Cuckoo clocks are kind of my jam, so how could I create a typographic version? While I love the decorative elements of traditional cuckoo clocks, they felt too obvious—I didn’t want to illustrate my way out of the challenge. I struck gold when I realized that "cuckoo, cuckoo" has 12 letters. From there, I experimented with fonts until I found the perfect fit. And okay, I did put a bird on it—but typographically, of course!
